General Manager (Fertilizer Sales)

Ravi Trade, a part of LW Group, is a leading commodity trading company in Pakistan that specialises in importing fertilisers and raw chemical materials from diverse global sources. Dedicated to excellence, we focus on delivering high-quality products to meet the needs of our extensive customer base in Pakistan. With a specialization in Potassium Sulphate (SOP) Water Soluble and Granular (25kg) products, we are expanding our footprint and preparing to launch Potassium Nitrate products soon.

As part of our growth strategy, we are looking for an experienced General Manager to drive our sales operations in Pakistan.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and expand sales operations, focusing on Potassium Sulphate (SOP) fertilizers.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to maximize market share and revenue.
  • Build and maintain customer relationships.
  • Identify growth opportunities and emerging trends.
  • Provide sales estimates, based on seasonal trends and market variables.
  • Set ambitious targets for the sales team.
  • Design bonus systems for the sales team.
  • Collaborate with the international Supply Chain Team to streamline procurement, transportation, and warehousing.
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • 10+ years in fertilizer sales, specifically in SOP fertilizers.
  • Strong knowledge of the fertilizer and chemicals market.
  • Proven track record in customer network expansion and relationship management.
  • Excellent analytical skills for sales forecasting and market analysis.
  • Effective planning and execution of sales strategies.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field. Advanced Education in Agriculture is preferable.
  • Prior experience in supply chain management with knowledge of vendors is a plus.
  • Experience working with foreign suppliers, banks, and customs is an advantage.
